Sulkin House
1958
Fry, Drew, Drake & Lasdun
Tower Hamlets

A small estate just off Roman Road in Bethnal Green by Denys Lasdun, with two tall ‘cluster’ blocks, Sulkin Houses and Trevelyan House, both eight storeys tall with four maisonettes per floor. The maisonettes splay out on two wings from a central core which contains services, lifts and a staircase. There are also four-storey ranges of maisonettes constructed of brick and concrete.
